C&J Announces New Cleanroom Expansion and Other Capital Improvements
C&J Industries is quite pleased to announce that we have completed a new Class 100,000 Clean Room Molding facility that began operating the first week of January. This new Clean Room contains 14 presses with clamp pressures ranging in size from 20 ton to 170 ton. The new Clean Room nearly triples C&J's Clean Room molding capacity. The Clean Room expansion is part of $1.5 million capital improvement plan over the past 18 months.
In addition to the (6) new electric presses that C&J Industries purchased late in 2004/2005, C&J Industries has recently added a new Toshiba 180 Ton electric press. As part of the Molding Facility Capital Improvement program, C&J Industries has also reorganized our larger presses into a single bay and we have installed a 5-ton bridge crane system to enhance our set-up efficiencies in the new bay.
We are also pleased to announce some significant upgrades to our tool shop capabilities as well. We have recently added a new Charmilles 440-CC CNC wire EDM, as well as three new Mitsui grinders and a Harrig CNC grinder. This new equipment will provide greater EDM capacity as well as expanded capabilities and reduced lead-times.
If you would like to learn more about our capability improvements please contact C&J or your local C&J Industries Sales Representative.
