Plastics 101 Seminars

After talking to a number of our customers, C&J Industries realized that there is very little basic injection molding training available for Buyers, Designers, Engineers and Quality personnel. That's how Plastics 101 was born and now hundreds of our customers have benefited. Now you can too.

What is it?

The Plastics 101 Seminar is a half-day presentation of the basics of injection molding. You will actually see animated, cross-sectioned video of the injection molding process. You'll see how resin pellets are converted into molten plastic. You will find out how resin fills an injection mold and finally, you'll see how an injection mold operates during the molding cycle.

Who should attend?

Anyone that deals with plastic injection molded parts but doesn't have a lot of plastics knowledge. This seminar won't make you a Plastics Engineer, but you will be able to ask better informed questions and you'll be able to fill in the blanks of some of your missing information.

Who should I contact?

Mark Fuhrman, Director of Marketing and Sales, at markfuhrman@cjindustries.com.

Mark has over 20 years of plastics injection molding experience and has presented this seminar to dozens of Fortune 500 companies around the country. Some of the companies who benefited from the Plastics 101 Seminar include:

Eaton Corp
