C&J completed the largest building expansion and plant renovation in the company’s history in December of 2011. With Phase III and IV complete, C&J now has a new 12,000 sq ft White Room capable of housing (17) presses ranging from 55 Ton, 2 oz shot size to 720 Ton, 102 oz shot. (Click here for previous progress reports on the building project.)

The expansion also included a significant renovation and creation of a fully equipped assembly room. This new assembly room offers a complete suite of secondary services such as Pad Printing, Sonic Welding, Heat Staking, Leak-Testing, Manual and Automated Assembly (click for photos)

C&J now has (42) presses ranging from 20 ton to 720 tons of clamping pressure. All presses are now housed in either an environmentally controlled room or Class VIII Clean Rooms.

In perfect timing for the completion of the building project, C&J passed a week-long U.L. audit that concluded on December 2, 2011. The auditors reviewed and assessed C&J’s ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 Quality systems. We were pleased to find that the auditors had no reportable actions or areas of improvement.
